History & Significance

Also known as the Rock of Raouché, the Pigeon Rocks are two large natural sea stacks sculpted by wind and waves over the ages, one of them pierced by a dramatic natural arch. Long a symbol of Beirut, they sit at the end of the Corniche in the upscale Raouché district, where cafés and terraces look out over the water toward the rocks.
